Moedling

Moedling is a cute village of about 23,000 people about 45 minutes south of downtown Vienna. You can see Vienna from the hills around town. There are a couple of old churches and a super cute downtown with a large pedestrian only, cobblestone area. It has the great characteristics that you think about when you think of ideal, old European towns. There's a little creek running through town. Here are some photos of the downtown. For more photos of around town, see my dorm or commute.

I've been out to a couple of heuringers (wine taverns that Austria is famous for, with local food and drink) in Moedling, and here are some photos of one of them (Kirsten, the menu is especially for you).
